Sale for new bookings only!

Recommended Posts

Hi,  I'm looking at a very good price for an upgraded cabin on one of my upcoming cruises - unfortunately my request to upgrade have been denied as the "sale" price is for new bookings only!

As I'm past the 90 days can't cancel and rebook either.

The sale is about $600 less than what they want to charge me when they upgrade my exiting booking.

Have escalated to resolutions but they insist the sale is not for existing bookings🥹

Any way to get the better price?

HUCA?

 @Ourusualbeach 🙏

Thanks for your input!

If it’s important to you cancel your booking and eat the $100 fee and rebook.

They are not going to honor the new booking price on an upgrade, unfortunately. This happens all the time it’s old news.

I think he said he was within 90 days, so he would lose more than $100.

This must be a last minute price to fill the ship.

OP I dont think rcl gives obc or price drops after final payment  .. period.

After final payment, it's much more than the $100pp fee

My apologies, I read it as he is past 90 days since booking.

If the booking is within final payment, aren't price drops off the table as per contract? Maybe this doesn't fall under the price drop verbiage.

Price drops are off the table but upgrading to a higher category of stateroom is usually allowed

That's what I'm trying - only the new price with the sale is only about $300 more but they don't want to give me the "sale" so I'm asked to pay $900 more 😱🥹

Hoping they might change the sale to a regular price once the 2 day's of flash-sale are over🤞

OK Update:

They not doing any upgrades for current pricing after the 90 day line.

They will say current pricing ist only for new bookings - even if there is 0 special promotions!

You need to  call back.  I just upgraded 2 clients that are less than 60 days to sailing.  Paid an extra $44 each and they went from a balcony gty to a choose your room.
