How to get from Oasis of the Seas to MIA

What is the 'easiest' and not too costly way to get from Oasis of the Seas to Miami International Airport after disembarking on a Sunday in April? We used Royal Caribbean's transfer in the past but had to wait more than an hour for a bus that had seats available. Don't want to do that again.

Any recommendations, including potential cost, for Uber/Lyft or taxi? We are two seniors with two weeks of luggage and carry-ons. After more than 20 Royal cruises we still take too much luggage!😏

Get yourself a Uber X, about $30. Uber is much less than a taxi, and a X will have plenty of room for large luggage.  If it is your first time using ride share don't be over concerned, the driver will pull right up to you, they have some type of super radar imbedded into their brains. Download the app and put in you cc info well before your trip, if you have any problem ask a young adult for help and they will hook you up.

From POM to MIA a taxi will run about $30 on the meter +tip

From Port Everglades to MIA a taxi will run about $75-80 +tip - UberX or standard Lyft should be about $50-55, but surge pricing may drive up the fares.

Do we know what port the Oasis is docking at? I don't.

That being said, the options from PortMiami  and Port Everglades are discussed here daily...

Oasis is docked at Miami Criseport, Terminal A.

There will be a line of taxis waiting at POM - van and SUV cabs are the same fare if you need a larger vehicle for your bags.

Uber and Lyft might save you a few dollars - expect to wait 5-10 minutes for your car.

When we got off the Oasis in Miami in April 2022, we only waited about 5 minutes in the taxi line until we got a taxi.

However, when we got off the Oasis in Miami in January 2023, the taxi line stretched all the way to where we exited the ship.  There must have been hundreds of people in the taxi line!  So we ended up getting an Uber and it was surge pricing, but oh well.
