Best Hotels to stay in night before

Looking to fly in the day before and stay relatively close to the port.  Any good recommendations of where to stay?  Wouldn't mind waking up and being able to see the ship docked and waiting for us if possible.

Which city are you leaving from?

There are a few hotels downtown all be it expensive.  I've stayed at the JW Marriott a few times.

I prefer staying in one of the Courtyard Hotels by the airport (which is pretty close to the Port).  I'm staying at the Courtyard Blue Lagoon next week for half the price of the downtown Miami hotels.

We stayed at Yotel in downtown Miami, it’s a reasonable price for a basic but brand new hotel, walking distance from Bayside marketplace for dinner or entertainment and there are other places nearby for breakfast. Only a few minutes by Uber/Lyft to the port.

Apologize - This is for Miami!

Suggestion from a local: try to find the time to go to South Beach if you haven’t been.  It’s a must see at least once and a great place to get an ocean front dinner and people watch.

Good deals can sometimes be found on Hotwire for Novotel Brickell.

We've stayed there twice and loved it.

Brickell is very walkable, and the free People Mover can get you to Bayside Market, City Center, etc.

A/K/A Brickell is OK......weird set-up since it's also condos.
