Are cordless or battery powered steamers allowed?

I know anything plugged in is a big no no, but I wonder if cordless or battery powered steamers are ok?

No, anything with a heating element (with the exception of hair care products) are prohibited and will be confiscated.

Thank you both.  I have used the downy wrinkle release.  Only really works with lightly wrinkled clothes and barely that.

I use it often. Hang up garments. Spray and use your hands to smooth wrinkles. Allow garment to stay hanging up while drying.

Find the largest-width hair straightener.
I personally have never needed it but I have one

Everyone is on vacation so we don’t care if you have wrinkles. Those dressy days are over too. Well some still go all out, not us.

You are allowed to bring plug in items with you. I always bring a small electric fan with me. The two things that I consistently see getting confiscated are anything with a heating element as previously mentioned in this thread and extension cords. At some ports like Port Everglades, you walk by the confiscated items table in the terminal when leaving the ship. It always amazes me how many items are on the table, with irons usually being the most “popular” item.
