Apex: Eden dinner menu question

Hey everyone!

I'm cruising on Apex Mar 25 - Apr 1st and have a dinner reservation at Eden on Day 5.

I've seen a few Youtube videos of people eating at Eden and doing a special tasting menu. Does anyone know if you can do the tasting menu without the wine pairing? If so, what is the cost?

Also another random question: do they charge for ordering an extra appetizer at the main dinner restaurants (Cosmo, Normandy, etc)?

You do not have to do the wine pairing. If you have a drink package, you can do wines off the package, so the cost is the cost of your Eden reservation.

They do not charge for anything extra in the MDRs except the extra lobster.

Both menus are the same. The tasting menu gives you smaller portions also you can taste more items. You can order several of each appetizer and  main entree as well. They were very accommodating to everyone’s needs.
As others mentioned, no wine tasting needed and the price will just be the regular dining cost.
The food was excellent.

Thank you, everyone! I searched the forums for this topic but there was some ambiguity in the comments section.

I also have reservations at Raw5 and Fine Cut. Any opinions on those? 🙂

Never have eaten at Raw5, but have eaten at Fine Cut.  It was fine, above average.  We get plenty of good steaks in Texas.......and Fine Cut was nothing special IMO.  And I thought the service was rather slow.  We will continue to eat at Eden as it is our favorite.

I keep hearing that.  Can't wait to try it 😋

Indeed. At first I was put off by the label "crab cake" because I expected some breading/filler. There was none. 🥰     I was also pleasantly surprised by the Lobster Casserole since that label did not seem very elegant. Oh my! Not at all what I had expected from a "casserole"; so glad that I ordered it.

The crab cake appetizer and the lobster casserole entree were amazing on the Apex two weeks ago!  I wouldn't call it a lobster "casserole" though - it was delicious chunks of lobster over some vegetables and sauce.

Eden our favorite restaurant.  The salad is a show.  Can be shared.  Also loved the mulligatawny soup.  It was the best!  We went to Eden twice and I had it both times.  Everything was wonderful!  Best service IMO of all of the specialty restaurants.  Enjoy
