sapphire princess dry dock

i am on the april 29th sailing right after the drydock.  does anyone know what is being done in drydock?  i also wonder what happens to the staff during that time.  is there a big turnover with an abundance of newbies on the first cruise after drydock?

We are currently on the Sapphire.  From what we have heard the ship is having "general maintenance."  Painting, new carpets, mechanical repairs, etc.  

 

Most of the crew will be staying on as they have to care of around 1,000 maintenance workers that will be living on the ship during the drydock.  Several crew members are looking forward to shopping at the Portland outlet stores.

Crew mainly stay with the ship during dry dock. The provide service for contractors, and some also help with dry dock jobs assigned to the crew.
