When I was in Miami, I stayed at theĀ Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Miami Brickell Downtown. This hotel is extremely close to the station to both the free Metromover service as well as Metrorail Orange line from the Miami airport.Ā

Have previously stayed, and booked again for next January, The EB Hotel Miami Airport. Hotel is 7 minutes from Miami Airport and about 15 minutes to the port.Ā Ā https://www.ebhotels.com/miami

One of their rate categories includes a shuttle to the port.

Ā

Independent transfers

BUDGET is always the first piece of information needed. Rooms run from about $75 - $4,000 per night. With probably 200+ hotels within 30 minutes of MIA and POM, you have a ton of options. Once you have your list of requirements for amenities, pop those in Hotwire or Priceline to see what comes up.

Your options are endless. It is really hard to just suggest any of the hundreds of hotels that are discussed here.Ā

There is zero reason to have a shuttle. Miami is not a large city in geographical size. Unless you have some large group just go with a rideshare or taxi.Ā

Ā

Hotels in Downtown and Brickell are best to pre-cruise. Very close to the port. Hampton Inn Brickell is the most popular choice.Ā

Thanks for this suggestion! I just booked it for the night before our cruise in May. Any good restaurants nearby?
