Boarding time question in NY

How strict are they with boarding times on MSC? We are leaving from NY in June and we are driving up with my sons family since parking is so expensive.

on the MSC app it says their boarding time is 10 am but ours says 12 noon. If we get there at 10 will we have to sit in the terminal for 2 hours after they board?

TIA

Hard to say, since the first cruise from NYC is on April 22.  Usually, shoreside staff are not cruise line employees but hired by the port and work for every line that ports there.  Whether they are strict or not,  noone knows yet.  EM

OK thank you. Just trying to figure if I'll be sitting in the terminal for 2 hours. Either way I'll survive.

Thanks again🙂
