mamashamiller Posted April 12, 2023 #1 Share Posted April 12, 2023 My final payment isn’t until end of May but I canceled this cruise for another one later in august rep told me I’ll get deposit back in 10-14 days and I asked about the soda package I bought and he said that would be returned as fcc i said I want everything refunded to card (even thought I could use fcc on next cruise.) Is this a thing they try to keep anything you pre-purchased and refund as fcc even if it’s way before final payment? He then agreed to refund everything??? Cancellations like that have always been refunded to my credit card. That said, I have never cancelled a purchased item at the same time as cancelling a cruise. Its entirely possible that customer support gave you the wrong answer. In the future I would do as someone else suggested, cancel pre-purchased items like water, soft drinks, excursions, etc and then a day later, cancel your cruise.
