First thing on board, we took a sharp left turn and headed straight for Murano. Wanted to book the Veuve Cliquot champagne dinner. They only have eight slots and I was SURE we were too late to snag two slots for us. But…We got it!! We’ve never done this one before, so I’m really looking forward to it.

Mark loves the edamame. So started with that. Nice and hot and the perfect amount of salt.

Decided on the baked scalloped roll

Made it to the room. We are in a 1A balcony on deck 8 in the aft-side of the mid-ship hump.

The slightly angled balcony gives a little more room, and the location is fantastic.

There’s shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel provided by Celebrity.

Also lotion and hand soap.

If I remember correctly from our last Solstice cruise, the shampoo and conditioner are terrible. If at all possible, bring your own. The shower gel and lotion are not bad though.

There’s also a hair dryer. Not sure why it’s in the bathroom though. You’ll need to plug it in at the desk in the room.

Forgot to mention. Completed the majority of our Muster Station briefing on the Celebrity app while waiting to board. Once we got on the ship, all that was left was to show up at our muster station (dining room- deck 4 for us) and check in. Easy peasy.

Thank you! Lunch was delicious. And not having to fight the crowds at the buffet?? So much better. Highly recommend!

We love cruising on the pacific coast. We did a Mexican riviera out of San Diego years ago and a couple years later, a wine cruise from Vancouver to San Diego, both on the no longer, Mercury. Enjoy!

Our favorite Celebrity cruise to-date has been the 12-night Alaska out of San Francisco on the Century. So many great memories!
