Balcony dividers on Infinity / millennium class

Hi!

 

At last ! Onboard Infinity. the steward said no problem to opening the dividers. Now saying only when docked in port. Anyone have recent  experience with this on deck 11? My understanding was that it was not possible on 9 but on 11 should not be an issue.

On deck 11 they can be physically opened.   But it sounds like they now have a policy at least on this ship that they can only be opened while in port.   I'd ask Sylvia the front desk manager or Antwinette the GR Director why that is the case.
