Couple of newby questions

Hi, We booked Sky princess dec 16 this year and have a couple of questions.

First, Is there a way to link reservations?  We have 2 cabins and want to book shore excursion and possibly dinner reservations.  On other lines, we were able to link the cabine and book all reservations from one account.

Also, as we get closer to the cruise, does Princess add more shore excursions?  The selections seem limited compared to what we are use to.  Also, do they have private shore excursions through Princess similar to Celebrity private excursions?

Thanks in advance for the info.

Call princess directly and they’ll link your reservations or contact your travel advisor if you have used one.
Have not seen increasing choices of excursions closer to sail dates.

Private excursions are best getting on your own….lots of on line searching can give you plenty of ideas.

1.  You should make sure Princess - or your TA - cross-references the two bookings so that it is clear you all are travelling together.

2.  You can add Travel Companions in the Princess App by sharing each other's booking confirmation number and add that.

3.  Once that is done, ONE of you can make dining reservations and add the other two Travel Companions as Dining partners and then that person is booking for 4 people.  Look for Private table space and system will place you in a 4-top.

4.  If you don't get consistent dining, try not to sweat it too much and speak to DR Mgr on your first day aboard.

Other than what Princess sells, you can investigate and book your own private excursions.  Princess sometimes offers small group or private car experiences in port, but you will do much better to book your own independently.

PS - Based on your sail date, you should be seeing all excursions now and they won't come up with more, but the popular ones will get booked up.  We very rarely ever do a Princess excursion and always look to find a private provider in each port and seek to share with small number of fellow cruisers using the Roll Call forum.

You can easily add travel parties through the medallion app when doing the dining reservations so it's very easy to link the two cabins together. You want to add those guests to your travel companion list under your booking on the app. You just need their booking number to do so.
