Duty Free shop at AMS airport

Is it possible to buy wine at the AMS duty shop, while on layover, to bring with me to  Stockholm?

I will be traveling for MSP -AMS-ARN in June.

It won't be "duty free".

 

Both Netherlands and Sweden are in the Schengen Zone, so it's not considered "international" for tax/duty purposes.

Thanks, I see my mistake.

I just remember years ago, coming from Turkey thru AMS. the Duty Free shop was full of flight attendants buying wine to bring back to MSP. My friend bought her husband a very expensive bottle of Scotch. 

Guess I will have to find some good Italian /Spanish wine while Stockholm to bring on my Viking cruise.

And note that "duty free" doesn't necessarily mean "cheaper".

 

I love looking at prices for spirits in various DF stores.  Sometimes you can get a good price - other times, you are paying more than you would at Costco.

Although it is not 'Duty free' in AMS, it is cheaper to buy wine there than in Stockholm.  moreover, wine can only be bought in special shops called 'Systembolaget’ in Sweden.  They have excellent wine but expensive.
