Island Princess

Going on a cruise in August 2023 on the Island Princess.  Can someone tell me what Power socket format there is in the cabins?

I have appliances with UK style power plugs.  Do I need an adapter?

All Princess ships have both European (240v) and North American (110v) plugs.  The question becomes what are your devices?  All Apple product and most medical equipment are dual voltage.  
 

There is usually an European outlet near the bed for the lamp.  Bring an adapter that has a second plug so that you can tap into this and still have the use of your bed lamp.

 

The desk with have both.  With bigger charging blocks, there is only space for one charger.  
 

Surge protector power strips are not allowed.

At the back of the shelf formerly used to hold the old CRT-style television is a dual North American socket. This is in addition to the sockets in the desk area.

Yes, you will need adapters.  UK to EU and/or UK to US.  There are no UK outlets.  EM
