Breakfast was at Luminae. I ordered what is my standard first morning at sea breakfast.

Eggs Benedict without sauce and a side order of corn beef hash

and an order of grits on the side

Two things I am peculiar about are grits and corn beef hash.

The grits were good and when I order next time I’ll ask them to leave off the cheese and other toppings.  Fair warning, what appears to be bits of bacon was actually garlic.  Imagine my surprise.

The corn beef has was also good and not overly greasy, which has been an issue I have encountered in the past.

dorm room decor..the Hoppen design !

We were on the Summit in a SS that was also destroyed by Kelly.  The redesign sucks.    There is no storage, the drawers are very shallow and all of the shelves that were in the bathroom were removed.   Magnets don’t stick to the walls.   The only thing metal is those metal shadow  boxes next to the mirror. That is where the do not disturb magnet is stored because it won’t stick to the inside of the exit door. The chair doesn’t fit under the desk .   There is no full length mirror that the ladies miss.

Photo on left is our balcony furniture.   The one on the right shows the depth of all of the drawers.

Shame on the person that approved the final design.

You need to hit your “refresh” button a few times during the day in order to capture any changes in the app.

Yes, I know.

What I posted agrees with the Celebrity Today for today

We have not had one before either.  Was surprised to see it.

It is there because it was originally in the cabin but most passengers will put it on the balcony so it doesn’t take up any valuable surfaces that Kelly left.   There is usually another piece of useless coral decoration that most hide under the bed or somewhere else.

We agree with all your comments regarding the room.

Your balcony at least was deeper than ours.  There is no way we could get a chair between the couch and the railing on ours.

I think you were in what has now been reclaased as AquaClass Sky Suites ..

Is there any way to get a Millennium MDR dining plan ahead of time?  I am aware that numbering can change but I still would find it helpful to get a good idea as far as location.

If you are talking about the table numbering vice a menu, I know of no way.  I cannot ever recall seeing one.

What we have done when dining in the MDR is to go upon embarkation and find our table and if we dif not care for the location, asked to have it changed.

This was pre-COVID and when we had assigned dining times.

There have been various table plans shown on Cruise Critic in the past.  However, none of them is accurate. The tables are re-numbered and reconfigured on virtually every cruise. Two tops are pushed together to make for tops. A six top can have the leaves extended to make an eight top. The diagram is just not worth looking at

The daily elite breakfast turns out to be the Elite Continental offering vice MDR breakfast options.

That’s normal.  I think the only thing that changed was the location due to the number of Elite and Higher guest on this sailing.

Cannot wait to hear the breakdown of CC numbers.   I saw the 600 Elite and above posted earlier.

I know for lunch and dinner yesterday and breakfast this morning, Luminae has been very busy.

As mentioned in my original comment, I am aware of changes on particular cruises in table numbers. I would still find it helpful to get a general idea. Especially since the tables pushed together have some original numbers and are still in the same general area.

On HAL , it was very easy to get a plan by contacting ship services.  My past experience with Celebrity has shown that  they are much less accommodating on this and other matters. So I wasn’t expecting much, but wanted to ask here anyway.

Good suggestion.

But do you think they would allow you to snap a picture of the current table plan?

Deck 4 only.

Do you or Mrs DeKahuna like sweet and savory combo? If yes, try the potato waffles and ask for only with one waffle (so you have room for almond croissant). This is a new breakfast item.

@DaKahuna, thank you for your posts.  If it’s not too much trouble, could you please take a photo of the Celebrity Today front page for today (and when you can, on subsequent days, too)?

I have already posted it but here it is again and will make a daily post.

We were just in a remodeled hotel room where we stay often that took away most of the drawers including at the night stands. So now that's one big clutter fest.  We think it's a new thing so it's less cleaning and guests leaving behind things they have to hold.  It did suck!

No worries, I had to look at it twice to see it was not just an advertisement.
