This has accelerated since the Infrastata takeover 13 years ago. They aim to attract more cruise ship business and are more than capable of doing so. Some of the largest cruise ship fit out companies are based in Northern Ireland. The yard is also being reconfigured to allow for ship building to recommence, from 2025 the yard is expecting to complete the final assembly of three naval support ships for the Royal Navy.
