Current Info on Beach Bars

Heading to St. Maarten in January of 2024 and looking for up to date info on a place to spend the afternoon that has facilities including restrooms and food.  Not interested in Maho but I'd love to hear other suggestions and how to reach them.

Coco on Orient or Rainbow on Grande Case

Grab a cab to Orient Bay - Sunbeach Club. Nice padded chairs and umbrellas - no charge if you purchase food/drink. All was great and easy enough to grab a cab back to the ships. Beach was beautiful, tiny amount of seaweed just on shore on April 22nd.

Orient Beach on the French side of the island is wonderful.  Great beach great water and great people. Drinks everywhere. 

Nice little taxi ride through the island nice day. Have fun.

How are the taxi prices?  We have a group of 7, may need 2 taxis,

There are 9 seater minivans……Say about $90 e/w for whole van.

There is taxi service at the end of the shopping area in port.  Follow the signs, the fees are posted. When looking at pricing make sure you understand if it is one way or round trip so there are no financial suprises, figure $100 bucks, bring cash for it.
