Jammy Bun Posted May 2, 2023 #1 Share Posted May 2, 2023 Bookings open up for us tomorrow and, whilst we’ve done several Viking cruises, we’ve never previously travelled with friends. Can we link our reservations to reserve a table for four? I know that once on board we’ll be able to change our booking if there’s availability, but as our friends are first-timers, I’d like to be able to give them some reassurance that we will be together! ropomo Posted May 2, 2023 #2 Share Posted May 2, 2023 Assuming that your friends are in the same or higher cabin category, you can book for both of you. You will need their booking number.
TayanaLorna Posted May 2, 2023 #3 Share Posted May 2, 2023 Yes if you are in the same stateroom type (DV, PV etc) one couple needs to have both booking numbers on hand when you enter MVJ. Go to Manfredis or Chefs Table and click on invite others. Enter the booking number of the other couple when you choose your date and time. Your booking number is already entered by virtue of opening MVJ. We did this with up to 6 people. The reservation will show up on both couples calendars.

Only issue was us having more days than our daughter and SIL. We could pre-book up to the number of days they had, then finish the process when we board. Or you are in a PV (get 2 res) and your family in DV (1 res)?
Jammy Bun Posted May 2, 2023 Author #6 Share Posted May 2, 2023 Thanks everyone. We're both in DV, so I'll get their booking numbers and do as you advise.
