Heated Pool on Nieuw Statendam

My apologies for not being proficient in using the Cruise Critic search function, but does HAL heat the Lido pool for use in colder climates? We are about to embark on a Norway voyage on NS and were hoping to be able to do some water exercises. Thank you!

Absolutely.  Both pools will be heated.  If there are kids jumping around on the Lido pool you can always go outside to the supposedly adults only pool, since even when the air is frigid, the water is nice and warm!

"Large" is a vague topic...I wouldn't say two of them are large, but one is. Of course they get crowded.

This probably depends on the itinerary. I only sail in Northern Europe and I've never encountered the "chair hogs" that people post of. Even on sea days, I've only seen a handful of people in the pools and hot tubs.

My own pool comfort benchmark these days is 84 degrees.
