I asked if I could book show reservations for the other 6 people traveling with us & the 1 ans. I got was YES if they a linked, what do they mean by linked?

I dont think I was linked, but a friend of mine added me by name when he was reserving shows on allure. I dont think its necessary if you have their name and stateroom.

IF you are on multiple reservations,  you must have your TA or Royal link your reservations so that you can access all of them through the cruise planner

We were sitting there together when we boarded and a friend was making reservations for shows. .. there is a add button . where you can add others to your show reservation, just put in their cabin number and click on their name. I would have done it myself but he did it for me. 

 

Just click the "add" button when you make the reservation.
