has anyone taken part in this and can give feedback/ more information ? wondering the price 

 

i am considering this or the grog walk 🫢

We have done the Grog Walk several times and loved every minute of it, would highly recommend as it's a great way to meet your fellow sailors and you get dropped off at the PJ party at the end.

We took Shot for Shot in January on the Valiant Lady. Then it was $35 and included 3 cocktails and a mocktail. A mixologist taught us all how to make the drinks and then some of the Happenings cast went over how to photograph the cocktails. Since January, I’ve seen it listed for $50. Not sure I’d pay that for it, but $35, yes.

thank you that is really helpful, i'm not sure i'd pay $50 for it either, you could make 3 cocktails and really dislike 2 of them 🙄 my husband fancies the grog walk so it might be this instead

We did the Grog Walk on Scarlet and enjoyed it, but it was also cheaper then. It’s a great way to meet fellow sailors and explore more of the ship. If I had to choose one or the other, I’d choose Grog Walk.

I think now that the Carribean cruises are more fully booked they’ve put the price up of the activities as they know they will sell out anyway. $50 feels a little high though for the class but as they don’t hold many people I expect they will sell out anyway.

We are headed out on Resilient Lady in a few weeks. I’ll do a live review and put the prices for those things in there for the European sailings.

Agree... everything is sold out quite quickly...

You don’t get to pick. At Razzle Dazzle we got a punch of sorts. Pink Agave, we had a really good margarita and snacks. Loose Canon, a Mexican martini and Casino bar, another fruity something.

I can't remember what they were but there were set drinks on the Valiant grog walk

It seems to change based on the voyage, but they’re all generally on the sweeter side.  You can sub in wine or beer, but the cocktail is a set one!

You don't get to choose.  There is a set drink for each part and a few munchies.  There are also set drinks on the grog walk.
