we’re stuffed but it’s not like uncomfortable misery! But yeah, we are definitely ready for the cabin between the food and the wine!

You could totally do it solo. Fella next to me was solo and we got to know him and had fun conversations. The whole atmosphere is fun and loose and encourages camaraderie while being a fine dining experience at the same

time. I say go for it! I’ll definitely do it solo in the future

Great to know, I am so doing this. Last cruise we tried jet skis for the first time and I was scared to death and hated it and I know I ruined his experience. This will work out perfectly, he can do that again by himself and I can do this by myself.

Chef's dinner looked amazing.  I, too, have never tried it because my husband is such a fussy eater.  Next time I'm going solo.

I'm booking it in a minute, have to go and make final payment anyways. I will let husband know sometime before were sail lol.

I did solo Chef’s Table on Panorama and met the nicest people. I ended up eating at JiJi’s with one of the couples a few nights later and @TxTeach79 is right, the atmosphere lends itself to camaraderie. I was solo on that trip but would have to go by myself even if DH was on the cruise. He doesn’t go for three hour meals. A must do for me going forward.

Ok you've convinced me, I will be booking Chef's Table on our Pride Greenland cruise next summer. It says Sold Out in my planner, but I assume it's just because the cruise is still a long 443 days away! Good thing I have three others booked before then.

Thanks for this thread. I joined in late when you got to the ports we visited last year. It's a nice trip down memory lane.

So far, your adventures in Portugal and Spain have all been fantastic, even just reading your posts and seeing the pictures!

The cruise terminal in Porto is the fanciest terminal, by far, that I have ever seen.  The architecture is just gorgeous.  Portugal was one of my Covid cancelled trips so seeing your posts encourages me to again plan for visiting there.....soon!

Aren't longer cruises great!  Seven days flies by too fast!

I’m just now stirring around 8:35 (fantastic!) but it seems like we’re late into port…. Last night was thick thick fog and the horn blowing all night, so maybe we’re moving slowly? I’ll see what I can see

Couple of side updates - this cruise has been exceptionally smooth. Very little movement whatsoever. Also, we haven’t heard a PEEP in the hall here aft on 7. Nothing. No doors slamming, no yelling, no loud conversations in the hall.

We always stay in 7299 on the Pride and the other Spirit class ships. Our son and his family stay in 7285. It has always been quiet. It’s a perfect location for us.
