Sol Y Mar Shaded Areas

Does Sol Y Mar have shaded areas along the beach or offer umbrellas?  Some of the videos I've watched doesn't appear to have either.  Thanks

no umbrellas. Several trees for shade but most of beach is sunny. Grab a shady area as soon as you get there.  Was there 2 weeks ago on ship excursion from Harmony. Quiet beach, clear water, no seaweed or vendors.  Take bug spray !

We were there when it was quite new and lack of shade was my biggest problem.
 

I liked the place but I didn’t like that when you exited the bus you were divided into groups and assigned a server and an area of the beach. I dragged my lounger to a more shaded area under some palm trees and our server eventually found us!
