We have a morning flight from FCO to LHR and are showing only 90 minutes to make connection to EWR flight, all on BA...

Is this feasible and/or doable?

TIA and bon voyage

Yes.  Both flights operate to/from Terminal 5, so follow the signs to flight connections, clear security, and off you go.

g - Thank you...

Don't know why.

Maybe because we were flying Business/First, but there was an escort waiting for us on the jetway to escort us thru Terminal 5, thru security, and to our connecting flight a few years ago.

The passengers waiting at security were not happy campers as our escort bypassed everyone in line and put us to the front. Then, when we got to our new gate, turns out the flight was delayed for a couple of hours.

The escort is not a standard feature. BA have a huge, premium heavy operation at T5 with hundreds of First/Business passengers an hour changing flights.

I’ve been a BA Gold (top tier) cardholder for almost 20yrs and have never had an escort from the jetbridge when on short connections…even when traveling with the wife (also a Gold) on business class tickets, hand luggage only and connecting off a late arrival onto the last flight of the day…
