deputybubba2 Posted June 16, 2023 #1 Share Posted June 16, 2023 I'm sure this has been asked numerous times but I couldn't find it in searching. ( sorry ) We have a room on deck 9 rear facing in Sept. on the Solstice, and I was curious if there is indeed only one outlet in the bed area. Thanks for any help. mahasamatman Posted June 16, 2023 #2 Share Posted June 16, 2023 I don't recall anything in the bed area. You will need an extension cord (which Celebrity provides unoin request).
deputybubba2 Posted June 16, 2023 Author #3 Share Posted June 16, 2023 Thanks ! I didn't know that the cruise line would provide extension cords ! That's one less thing to pack ! Bruce
Rare cruisestitch Posted June 16, 2023 #4 Share Posted June 16, 2023 Please do keep your extension cords and power strips (the kind with surge suppressors) at home 😀
deputybubba2 Posted June 22, 2023 Author #5 Share Posted June 22, 2023 So just to clarify on Cruisestich comment Surge protected power strips are prohibited on cruise ships ( I guess ) This is a new restriction since I last cruised. Good to know... Thanks Bruce

Bruce 1) Don't rely on getting one on the ship...There's only a limited number and they're first come, first serve...Total crapshoot to when you meet your cabin attendant and when they'll actually go look for one 2) If you elect pack a non-surge one, put it in your checked/porter luggage
WestLakeGirl Posted June 22, 2023 #10 Share Posted June 22, 2023 If you need an extension cord for a CPAP machine, sure to contact Special needs before you go. I agree that waiting to request one from your room steward is risky.

WestLakeGirl Posted June 22, 2023 #12 Share Posted June 22, 2023 They will also provide distilled water for your CPAP machine, the other reason for letting the special-needs department know that you will be using one
