Can I make a 10:27 am flight on a Sunday morning?

If you look on the Florida Departures Board, this topic discussed almost daily.

 

If you have no mobility issues, are willing to carry your bags off ASAP, and grab the first cab, you can make this flight. Having TSA Pre helps as well.

You will make it.  I had a 9:30 flight and I was there at 7:45am.  Self disembark, cabs are ready to roll.  The airport is 15 - 20 minutes max.  Both times I did this, the terminal for Delta was NOT busy at that time of day.  We were the first in line to check in with our luggage.

As mentioned, if you get to the airport early you can often check in and do security quickly.  Once the cruise buses start to arrive, things back up quickly!  One time we were too early to check our bags so we had to wait near the checkin counter for our airline.  Everything was calm and no lines for about 30 minutes until the buses came and then it quickly became a zoo!  Was interesting to watch.
