Radiance to AK July 2024 - Chops res

I'd like to book Chops for one dinner (family of 11) on our AK sailing. I'm thinking of doing it on the sea day which is our first full day since we won't be out for excursions. Any down side to this plan? Would that likely be the same night as the captain's dinner or is that even offered anymore?

Don't think so.

There is no captain's dinner as an event.  First sea day will likely be formal and you get to line up for a photo with the captain.  Just make sure you specify one table.

Main dining will likely be prime rib that night.  You can look at current sailings of Radiance on the app to see what the dinner menu is each night - select your profile, scroll down to bottom of your cruises, select ship and then sailing date.  Next summer is a long way away but should give you an idea of menus.

Thanks I'll do that. The kids might enjoy the main dining room on the first sea day so maybe I'll book a night when we have to be back early on the ship.
