We often book our cruises a long way in advance. Then we watch as the "sales" pop up and generally find that the price is higher than we were already paying. I have had some good price drops in the past but don't count on it and the drops have had more to do with poor bookings on the cruise than any sale.

I can't stand another sale - the last three raised the price over $3,000 🙂  Glad we're locked in - but the days of buying in and expecting a reduction later seem to be gone - at least that's the case for our last 4 cruises.
