Transportation from Miami airport to Ft Lauderdale Airport

Flights are easier and more frequent to Miami but cruise is leaving from Port Everglades. If the expense is pprohibitive I'll deal with the inconvenience of Miami flights.  Thanks for any auggestions!

The drive from MIA to Port Everglades takes about 45-60 minutes, depending on traffic.  Plan on a $75-80+ cab fare, depending onwhere your FLL hotel is located.  You can also take the Tri-Rail train from MIA to several stations in the FLL area - ask your hotel where to get off; tickets cost about $5.  Uber and Lyft should be cheaper than a taxi, unless demand pricing pushes the fares up.

Brightline is already running between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale.

But to use Brightline from MIA you would need to get downtown to catch the train - Tri-Rail runs from MIA

Sure--that's why I didn't use airport codes. But PP implied Brightline wasn't already running.

I believe Brightline includes rideshares with one of their tickets

Brightline is impractical for MIA to Ft. Lauderdale. Unless it is a large group just Uber/Lyft.
