I got an invite for one of the cruises in February.  Can anyone offer any info about it?  I did go on a $50,000 slot cruise a few years back, but there were no other prizes and gifts.

If you are referring to Princess, we are currently (boarded 3 hours ago) on a VIP cruise  Not Ultimate - just VIP

We had 4 dark chocolate candies delivered 2 hours ago and going to a VIP cocktail party in 30 minutes to learn what we can expect this week.

I will come back later and update you with more information

went to the cocktail party - free drinks and some finger food.  We stayed for 30 minutes, thought they would have a speaker, but the casino manager went around to each table to welcome each table guest.

went to the casino and one hour after the ship pulled away from the dock, the casino was open for business.  We asked one of the casino people about the slot tournament and we were told that if we got 200 points with the first two days, we were eligible for the slot tournament on Monday.  Both my husband and I had over 200 within the first two hours.

Free drinks in the casino

I have a Prestige Cruise booked in two weeks. It's my first one. They contacted me this week to set up a car service for embarkation and disembarkation day. I'm hoping it will be a nice experience.  I have been on a VIP Cruise before, all of the gifts they gave me ended up in the garbage prior to leaving the ship. They had a slot tournament. It was crowded in the casino and not the best experience. I'm hoping the Prestige will be better.

Sorry, I forgot to say that this is on Holland America.

were on Princess

on Wednesday they offered us a dinner in the specialty restaurant (Italian) normal cost is $35 per person.  Last night we went to eat there - the food was good, but I would not pay for it myself.  They also said the dinner came with a bottle of wine.  This was part of the VIP treatment.
