embarkation day - when can you get food?

Recommended Posts

There’d be a riot if no food was available until the evening!

Most people head straight for the Windjammer (buffet) which is open for lunch but gets extremely crowded.

Depending on the ship you can get a lighter lunch at the cafe, or pizza, or a few other takeout options on the bigger ships.

And at least one specialty restaurant will be open for lunch if you want to pay extra.

Ok so say we're onboard at 1pm is there food available?

Or do we have to wait until the evening?

If you board at 1PM - the buffet will be open.   Other venues as well, depending on the ship.

Enjoy

Cafe Promenade

Thanks, if the OP's ship has a Promenade Cafe.  Been sailing Vision/Radiance class recently and no promenade cafe.  Never checked Cafe Latitudes.

Like many things, WJ open time varies. It was open before 11am on Wonder in June.

If you go as soon as it opens (my usual M.O.), it's not crowded at all in my experience. Many cruisers haven't boarded yet, not everyone heads there immediately, etc.
