Can you change rooms after booking

I made a hold but i didn't realize i can't seem to change rooms or do any other changes to the hold. So now i'm wondering if i can just go ahead with the hold and phone after to change rooms. Also as i have that booked, it doesn't seem to let me book a different date.

We have changed cabins many times after booking. It's a five minute phone call.

Just make sure you're before final payment. You may want to just give NCL a call, let them know you have a hold and ask them to change the room for you before you put any money down.

I phoned and he was grumpy and said he wouldn't get paid but he did it. Are they on commission? I had to book online as there was an amex promo. They phone me all the time.

Haha, I think you just got a bad one. PCC's (per my PCC, though others on Cruise Critic will say otherwise) are paid commission. General agents that answer the phone do not.

Gotcha about the Amex promo - I'm not familiar with it.

Its a canadian promo so americans may not have the same thing.

Although the Amex T&Cs say it has to be online, it still goes through if your PCC takes payment over the phone. I have done it that way several times as the website would only allow full payment so I always get my PCC to take the exact amount from each card we hold and leave the balance outstanding.
I have discovered since you can make partial payments on the app.
