Good morning everyone.  Nothing new here. Still trying to curb snacking.  I’m doing a little better. Stayed the same which is good.  
 

staying healthy.  Saw cardiologist  -  to evaluate BP and cardiac status.  Getting customary stress test and echo in a few weeks. Overall I feel great.

Izena - Glad you are feeling well!  Nice that you didn't gain.  I unfortunately am up 0.8# ... I've tried so hard, but I just don't seem to be able to stay on track.  I did not snack ... I did have a glass or two of wine a few days ... but, I'm still not eating much.  Food still tastes like salt!

Jan before Covid started I had a change in taste.    Breads,, pizza crust, dumplings all taste like paste.  The only things that taste right are candy and salty.  Thus eating healthy food  isnt  satisfying.   My recommendation is to relax. Your body will do what it wants.   Focus on staying the same and your body may respond with a loss.

Hello all! I did weigh on Thursday, and lost .8 lb. If tortilla chips & salsa did not exist, I'm pretty sure I'd be at least 10 lbs lighter! They are my weakness for sure. But the good news is that I do eat fewer chips per sitting than I used to! I still need to reduce it by half though. Anyway, now I am 9.8 lbs away from my "cruise goal weight" and our cruise is 8 weeks from today. I think I can, I think I can...!

 

It's going to be HOT here this week - "feel like" temperatures are expected to be well over 100*. So I will need to plan my walking for indoors this week, maybe in the gym at school before work.

I’ll be late for this weeks weigh in unfortunately. I injured my neck last Thursday and then yesterday passed out for the first time in over a decade. So tomorrow I’m going to the doctors in town (I live in the country but my parents live in the suburbs close to my GP). 15 days till my cruise.
