Bora Bora or Moorea

We would like to take a catamaran cruise either in Bora Bora or Moorea.  We are not sure which island to do it from.  Is one prettier than the other from the water? It would be using the same catamaran company, we just have to choose which place to do it from.   Would appreciate people's opinions.

Both islands are very nice though there is the old but very truthful saying, "people come to French Polynesia for Bora Bora ... but they end up falling in love with Moorea". I personally would do your catamaran on Moorea 😉

I spent several days on each island in 2016.  Bora Bora is known for it's beautiful water while Moorea is more of a lush tropical landscape.  I did a jet ski tour around Moorea as well as a ATV tour on the island.  Moorea is just gorgeous.  So is Bora Bora for the water if that's what you want, but my vote would be for Moorea.
