We will be leaving from the Manhattan Cruise Terminal and have been looking at hotels. I was hoping someone could provide information on the

The Bernic Hotel New York City, Tapestry Collection by Hilton - 145 E 47th St, New York City, NY 10017-2007. Is this a good area/hotel? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I LOVE that location. It’s Midtown East so it’s walkable to many tourist spots, but no where near seedy Times Square. You have a wonderful choice of non tourist trap restaurants around. Also good transportation options.

My daughter lived in Turtle Bay which is slightly East, I know the area well.

Thank you!!! They seem to have wonderful reviews (a few complaints). Not interested at all in Times Square and the price is great for the city.

We love the Italian restaurant Becco’s on restaurant row which is 46st between 8 and 9th ave , very reasonable with a great wine list that is only 35 a bottle, there special gives you 3 different pasta with a salad and free refills for the pasta , we go here twice on all our trips .

recommend getting a reservation with open table
