Photo session

We did it in November on the Equinox. It was called studio portraits and they told us that eventually it would all move to that format. It was one session that lasted 1-2 hours. It began in the studio and he then followed us around the ship taking shots outside. We were lucky to have a rainbow during that time!  You then go back a few days later to review and select your pictures. The experience was really fun but the prices were high. We had a good amount of onboard credit to make it worth it.

We did this in December on Reflection. It was pricey but we had some OBC and our Captain's Club discount, leaving it still mildly pricey. We are happy with the pictures but would have been happier if they were more affordable so we could have selected more of them. The photographer worked well with us and did what she could to help us make a selection that worked for us.

So if no photo ops with backgrounds like Royal, do they take photos when getting off the ship at ports?

On the Millennium they did set up a green screen by the photo area to add you into the various ports of call.

Has anyone here done the (Basic) Exclusive Photo Session they offer with your partner?  If so, can you please elaborate a little and let me know if you were pleased with it....thanks!

We did one in April, but not sure if it was just the basic or one step up. He took pics of us as a couple and a few of each of us separately. We chose 14 pictures which were both in colour and also in B&W on the memory stick. They also included one mounted pic (#15) shipped to our home. That was the only problem we ran in to. It took over 3 months to finally get that one. Even with the E+ discount it was still not an inexpensive endeavour, but we were pleased with the results.

Seems you thought it was ok..

We never agree to anything being e  mailed..or shipped.  Must leave with what we ordered...we get some pushback but that,s what we insist upon .

A green screen with ports of call is a nice idea..We could easily build a photo album around that idea. Thanks.

The memory stick with all the photos is in your hand when you leave the studio but the bonus print is mounted in your choice of one of the 3 or 4 styles. These are not done on the ship and shipped to your address.
