Deposit question

It is usually $100 pp though longer cruises or cruisetours it may be $200 pp. Usually the deposit is 100% refundable if the booking is cancelled before the final payment due date.  Sometimes the deposit is totally nonrefundable so you do have to pay attention to the fine print.  Occasionally P gets greedy and raises the deposit to $400 pp but that usually doesn't last long.

The perks selected do not affect the deposit amount.

We haven't cruised on Princess for quite a while and wondered what the deposit amount is for a cruise? Is it the same amount for either standard or Plus?

That wouldn’t make a difference. However, the actual cruise could make a difference.  Some are anywhere to $100-400 per person.

The longer ones being the highest.  Unless, there is a promo or sale.  Just be careful, because there are refundable and non refundable deposits and it is noted on the website.  You choose the cabin, is usually a refundable deposit.

All of mine are longer cruises and therefore they are all $400 PP deposits.
Long gone are the days of $1 deposits. 😞
