you can do imessage without buying any plan. To stream you'd probably need the best plan. I got the lower plan halfway through the cruise for $130 for 2 devices and the wifi was to punt it bluntly, terrible.

Less than 2mbps on the couple of times I checked the speed.

Thanks so much. We’re on board and purchased the premium for limited streaming, Wi-Fi calling and face time. So far it’s been good reception.

Onboard currently. Premium Plan. Here is speed in room. Cove Cafe is probably better. Can check tomorrow.  Just started a live review.

That's horrible for what they charge. I believe if memory serves that it was $42 a day onboard for the top tier wifi.

For a cruise, those are actually pretty decent speeds. There's no need to reiterate that the price for onboard wifi is exorbitant.

A lot of ships have upgraded their wifi to Starlink and speeds are much much faster and cheaper than Disney. I got over 100 mbps on Carnival Celebration and on Royal ships.

Same excellent experience with Princess.  Just off Cunard and they're upgrading to Starlink w/in the next couple of months.  DCL needs to do the same.  For a company that prides itself on customer service they're not doing well in this regard.
