Opinion Needed- Formal Night Dress

I was looking for opinions regarding the dress, without the crinoline (props to @Diane67b for the correct word), for a cruise.

I’ve received numerous comments with varying opinions but mostly on the side if I like it wear it. I’m going with that direction.

I appreciate everyone’s input and suggestions.

To answer a few questions:

I tried on the dress without the crinoline and the side ties can be manipulated to shorten the dress. This is great as I’m wearing flats with it on the cruise. The dress is sold with or without the crinoline so it’s designed to be worn either way, the skirt drops to draped pleats without the crinoline. I am done losing weight and fluctuate within 5 pounds now so I should be good with the fit.
