Blood pressure testing

We are soon sailing on the Splendor. A family member is taking a new medication and they are advised to take their blood pressure daily. Is this available on the ship and how difficult is it to have it done?

it could me done at the medical center, but there may be a fee.  Or it may not be available at convenient times.

 

personally I would purchase a portable electronic blood pressure monitor ($75 or so for a good one) and bring it on the cruise.

 

perhaps a friend or family member has one you could borrow.

Totally just buy one. Good to have anyway. We have had one for ages.  Just be sure to buy a good brand.

We travel with a Panasonic travel Bp monitor. Accurate. Don’t buy one for the wrist. Not accurate.

Agree about not using one for the wrist. We have an Omron that's accurate.

A good wrist monitor can be very c very actuate. Best to talk to your Dr. We check mine and my DH s against the Drs reading at every check up. It has been right on.

Omron is great brand. We also have large omron not for travel

I have been using Omron for years. It is a very good brand.
