Rare Mkdvmz Posted September 9, 2023 #1 Share Posted September 9, 2023 How does one cancel an excursion booked online through the Oceania website booked using credits. We are 5 weeks prior to cruise, and would like to change a booked excursion. I spent 50 minutes on hold, waiting to speak to someone at Oceania. I cannot find anything and tried searching on their website
pmatawan Posted September 9, 2023 #2 Share Posted September 9, 2023 You must call. I find wait times minimal in the morning. You might also try replying to specialservices that emailed the confirmation to you.

Tranquility Base Posted September 9, 2023 #8 Share Posted September 9, 2023 1 hour ago, LHT28 said: Posted 2 hours ago Can you cancel an excursion once on board? it depends on the type of excursion ………… Shore Excursion Packages On or after embarkation day 100% fee ………… This is important for those on the 25% discount package to keep in mind. Especially if on longer cruises / segments. It does raise a question however. Lets say you are onboard for 50 days, however that 50 days is made up of 3 separate cruises / segments with separate booking numbers. Is this ‘embarkation day’ definition just the single one when you first join the ship, or is this definition the start of each separate cruise / segment ? My guess it will be for each segment Best to check with Oceania if you intend to cancel any tours

I don’t take that package, but would still like to know in case I ever did. I’ll ask when onboard next month.
Rare Mkdvmz Posted September 10, 2023 Author #11 Share Posted September 10, 2023 Quite by happenstance, today, Saturday afternoon, I received a call from an Oceania rep, he was calling because I had saved two cruises and he was looking to try and sell me on booking but I got him to cancel my excursion instead on my booked cruise! Not sure why I answered the phone from an unknown number, so not my nature, but my problem solved
