What plane home from Fort Lauderdale

We will be on a Caribbean cruise in a few weeks.

Will we be able to make an 11:31 flight home?   Our next choice is not until 4

Will we be able to use the luggage direct?  It says for flights after 11:30.

Any help will be appreciated.

Yes and yes.

Our flight from Ft. Lauderdale is 10:30am, and we have no worries about making it.  We will disembark as soon as clearance is given and take our own luggage, but the airport is so close to the cruise terminal, and if we miss the flight, there are several more throughout the day.

Or…disembark at your leisure - spend a relaxing day in FLL - go home the next day at your leisure - no worries - no stress.

The airport is about 10" from the port and there's always been a line of cabs.  We usually don't leave the cabin until 9 and have always been at the airport before 10 (having used luggage direct, so we don't have to deal with suitcases).

We're disembarking this February and will catch a 10:45am flight...with no worries...based on a lot of CC folks weighing-in and also our own experience disembarking from Miami last January on a Sunday: we walked off with our luggage as soon as we could; we took the way longer Uber drive from Miami port to FLL; and we got to the airport by 8:30am!  We couldn't even check our bag we got there so early.

 

So, anyway, we aren't too concerned about a 10:45am flight.
