Sailaway times

Thinking about planning dinner reservation times.

We will be on the S. Caribbean cruise from San Juan in Feb.  The ship doesn't leave until 8:30 PM.  Does the sailaway time usually take place at 7 or is it delayed until the ship actually sails?

Not sure what time the other ships depart since I've only been on SL so far.

Don’t think anyone will know for certain about the San Juan itineraries until they take place, or maybe two weeks before as the Let’s Set Sail event should appear in the line up.

generally on all three ships at present it is 5.30-7pm for the party.

Do you mean the Sailaway Party? Most likely it'll be as the ship actually sails away, maybe starting at 8p.

Whereas I wouldn’t be surprised if they keep it around 6pm because most people will prefer to have a drink before dinner. Whereas many will be at dinner around 8pm.

Hi Cantgetin

Did you mean delayed til 9pm?

The ship departure was delayed until 9 pm, which would be in the middle of dinners, shows, etc.  The Sail Away Party was held at 7 pm. I'm not sure how to make it any more clear.....the ship didn't start moving until 9.  We partied  at 7 then went to dinner, so we didn't see the ship start moving,
