My girlfriends and I will be going on the Sensational girlfriends cruise on August 16th. We can hardley wait... I have been married for 27 years and sometimes you just need to get away and be "silly" with your friends....

Would guys ever go away with guys???

YES!! That's why they invented LAS VEGAS!!! As for a cruise...I just don't think I would enjoy it much without my gf. I have never cruised alone, but I dont think it could be enjoyable without sharing it with someone. JMHO and to each his own. To the people who enjoy cruising alone...more power to you...I think that's great...enjoy.

I have done the "girls" cruise and would do it again in a heartbeat. It was 3 of us and two of us are married with kids. We left all the "mommy" duties behind and enjoyed the heck out of our 4 day cruise. We laughed, cried, danced, drank, ate, sunbathed, and overall had a spectacular time.

I also have gone on a 7 day cruise with just my mother. I was a little apprehensive of spending 7 days in "tight" quarters with "mom", but we wound up having a blast. We had time to talk and laugh and reminice about so much.

I have been with just my DH on a 4 day cruise and enjoyed spending time relaxing with My Love. We don't get a chance to getaway without our son very often, so we truly enjoyed our "quiet time". We have another (rare) opportunity to travel together alone the end of this month - so of course, we booked a cruise!

The other cruises I have taken (and have another one scheduled for Feb. 2005) have been with DH, son, and my mom. Those too have been great as we all have a chance to take a wonderful vacation together.

I would not be able to pick and choose which I enjoyed the most. They all have provided me with fond memories. I would not hesitate to do any of those scenarios again (and again).

I can understand someone's DH being their best friend - but sometimes the "girls" just need to be silly and have their own fun. I couldn't imagine my DH allowing me to try different eyeshadow colors on him, or allowing me to paint his toenails a neon color (or any color).

For this 40 something wife and mom, I am blessed to have such a loving husband, fantastic son, fun mom, and wonderful girlfriends -- so cruising with one of them, or all of them is always a treasure.

We had a BLAST!

There was that one minor incident in casino with the evil twin sister. lol But all good. We had an EXCELLENT time. Hope we can cruise together again someday.

Sideshow Sherry & I will be going to Biloxi to see DOC in Sept. One of our other cruising/drinking buddies.

INCHARGE...I havent heard back from SEF yet...but did you hear how the bird was yelling at me?? ...hey bird if you can sling 'em from Georgia all the way to Texas then sling away mama!!! ...and by the way, I've seen Zones cruise photos...he sails solo because he's SMART!!...while I'm partying with only one woman Zone is partying with five or six...now I know why he and Host Randy get along so well...birds of a feather...LOL. Brenda, I almost forgot about my evil twin sister. She always shows up and causes a scene on the 1st night and sometimes against on the 5th or 6th night. I usually hide in my room when she's around. Tell Doc hi for me...I'd think about going on your Feb 05 cruise, but I'm going the week before you are.

It's mostly a good thing, but it does have some drawbacks sometimes.

I am going on my first cruise with out my husband , I asked if he wanted to go and said no so I turned this cruise into a girls cruise. My 2 friends are not married and are hoping to find romance so I am not sure how it will be if they hook up with some guys and and me well... guess I will just have to get drunk!!!! I am really excited and I dont feel guilty leaving my husband at home at all!!!! I say live life to the fullest!!!

I got a really good price on a cruise and booked it.
My wife said she couldn't go and I found I couldn't give both tickets away (they only allow one name change).
I didn't want to give such a good value away, so I decided to go and take my somewhat autistic brother.

My wife was totally against me going until she found out I'd be taking my brother.
