Hi all.  Just want to know the best way to purchase a few ginger ales for the room.  It would be nice to settle the tummy. Sometimes the motion of the ship or different foods can make your tummy a bit upset. Any body out there buy a few cans to keep in the room.? do we go to a bar and buy a few cans, or get it through room service,  Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

You can do either.  I'd have to check if they have a ginger ale since switch to coke.  Even before, they were not well advertised.

It will cost you more to order it through room service, as you then would have to pay 20% gratuity AND the fixed room service fee of $9,95 on top of the drink price. If you get it from one of the bars yourself, you would "only" be charged the 20% gratuity on top of the drink price.

Keep in mind that most ginger ale has almost no actual ginger in it. Drinking it may make you feel better emotionally, but it will be a placebo effect more than anything actually helping physically.
