Is the top sail deck exclusive to Aureau guests and how is it accessed.  Is there a bar there that is exclusive,  Which elevator goes there.  New to the aureau experience so need information,  Also is there a separate dining room on this ship for that experience;  Thank you,

Yep, it's exclusive. You can access it from outside and also from the elevator area that would lead to the Yacht Club.

There's a bar there that's open most of the time (though it does close a bit early).

The exclusive solarium was pretty quiet and typically had open seats when we were there. Sea days it fills up quite a bit.

Also yes, there's a separate dining room.

Actually the Aurea section is on deck 19, called Top 19. It is one way the interlopers can access the Yacht Club. This bar is closed Ocean Cay day. Open 9am -7pm sea days and 1pm-7pm port days.

As a peon would never think of invading the exclusive yacht club,  We bid on an aureau from fantasia balcony so just need information on how to access it and do we show our cards as surely don't want to upset anyone especially the yacht club guests,  It's a new experience and looking for information,  Thank you

I think Aureau guests dine in the MDR but in a separate area and it is anytime dining.

You will not upset any YC guests…I am just off Seaside in YC, I went through the gate to get to the Aurea area a few times…everyone was very nice…bartender was great…even had more shade at times, enjoy the cruise.

if you want to tour the YC, ask them in the future cruise area, we saw a few couples a day getting a tour with one of the Butlers.

As an aside, I would encourage you to look up deckplans for any largish cruise ship you'll be taking. Google.com, Duckduckgo.com, or any other competent engine will be able to find you several sites if the ones on MSC's homepage is being balky.

Morpheus' complaint about interlopers is not directed at Aurea-class people going from the forward elevators into Top 19, but those that ascend to deck 19 and then 'tailgate' Yacht Club members, following behind people who open the Yacht Club doors with their wristbands or cards, or just walk in if the doors are propped open.

Thank you for the info. Certainly would never impose on another level but this is a first so need to have some indication of the deck and what is included,  Is it extremely windy on that deck or is there some shelter.  Is this area strictly for aureau guests or do other guests use it. Thank you,

No, not too windy. Breezy for sure at night, but during sunlight hours I assume they slow down? My wife and I made a habit of hanging out in the cabana things after dark with wine that we had brought from up ourselves after the bar had closed.

Only Aurea guests and YC guests have access. When we visited there was little wind. More like a gentle breeze. The bar was never busy. We had great drink service there!  Enjoy your cruise…and don’t forget to visit the thermal suite…it’s included and a great perk!

Ah, but the question is was it a few couples and a butler, or an interloper dressed as a butler, and he was sneaking the interlopers into the YC? 😊😆
