From my recollection, the first thing you are told to do is go to your cabin, get your room key, and drop off your bags. On the Summit this past July they were encouraging people to go to their muster stations first.

Muster stations are usually on deck 4/5 and only takes a few minutes to be given the safety instructions. Does this mean you no longer have to retrieve your room key first before going to the Muster station? Do they check you in from the Boarding Pass on the App? When we boarded for our current cruise, the muster stations were not manned so we kept walking and went to our stateroom, dropped off our bags, found out our safe was not working, told our stateroom attendant, and proceeded to lunch. After lunch we went by our must station, checked in, and proceeded to our room.

It may be one of those things that vary ship to ship. The again, you are always better off retrieving your room keys as soon as possible.

It is on the app now already. Is it very crowded to go in the am upon boarding to Murano? Just wondering. Anita Not stupid. We we watch it before boarding. Go straight to the cabin pick up key, drop bags, go to muster station (usually the MDR on Deck 4 for the cabin we like) then to Al Bacio for our first lattes - job done.
