NCL “reclassifying” any and all staterooms, which formerly included access to the spa

Starting Jan. 1, "spa" will not be included with any rooms.  All thermal passes will have to be purchased separately.

What affect will this have on you?  How many people get the spa rooms because of spa access?  Has anyone noticed a price change of the former "spa" rooms changed?  We had Haven spa room given to us last summer and thoroughly enjoyed the room, but never used the spa.

Nothing new here. There are three or four other threads that mention the same thing when the announcement was made a week ago.

No real affect since it is normally cheaper to buy the base room and add a thermal suite pass. They need to make way for solo rooms.

iMO this makes a lot of sense.  It will certainly be much easier to manage cabin inventory and pricing.  Def suggests that the Solo cruiser is a strong demographic for NCL.  And, Thermal Pass can have it’s own dynamic pricing…not held hostage to cabin demand-based pricing strategy.  Good move NCL.
