Are crew members allowed to accept bottles of wine as gifts?

We received two bottles as gifts and we are unable to take them with us because we only take carry on luggage. Can we give them to our room attendant?

Just leave them in the room.    Many crew members don’t drink alcohol but if they find them they may share with the crew bar.   I don’t think they can actually accept them.

I seem to recall having to write a note authorising you have given it to them. I remember we stayed in the retreat often on Ovation in 2018 and we gave one of our attendants a bottle of the better champagne as she had just got engaged. She asked me to write a note so there would be no confusion she had just taken it.
