We recently  took a tour  of the Hunley museum

If you are  interested in such things  it was an interesting  tour 

If there on a weekend  worth the trip  to see the submarine

We might tour this when we are in South Carolina- unless this sub moves up north to Boston!

I am not  sure  SC  would want to part with this  artifact

they have been working on her for  23 yrs  & it would be a great undertaking to move her  now

Regardless, I am glad you did post on this forum because DD and family have a home in Charleston and we will be visiting there again next month. I'd not been aware of the Hunley so thanks!
